A Prayer for Those Involved in

Court Cases

As you — or others you know — face a legal battle, choose to walk in God’s righteousness, His integrity, His love…and His Word. And throughout this challenge, stand on, pray and confess the truth of God’s Word as reflected in this prayer:

“Father, Your Word says to call on You, and You will answer me and show me great and mighty things. So in Jesus’ Name, I call on You and put You in remembrance of Your Word. I thank You for watching over Your Word to perform it on behalf of _________________________________

“I declare and believe that no weapon formed against __________shall prosper and that any tongue rising against _____________in judgment will be shown to be wrong. ____________ is far from even the thought of destruction, for ________ will not fear, and terror will not come near. Furthermore, peace, security and triumph over opposition is an inheritance for ________, as Your child.

“Father, the righteousness which _______ obtains from You is imparted as justification. You promise to establish    to the end — to keep steadfast, give___________strength and guarantee vindication; that is, a warrant against all accusation or indictment.

“You, Father, are the One Who contends with those who contend with _______________, and You perfect that which concerns ______________ ___________ dwells in the secret place of the Most High, and this secret place hides ____________ from the strife of tongues. A false witness who breathes out lies is an abomination to You.

”__________ is a true witness whose words are upright and in right-standing with You.

By long forbearing and calmness of spirit the judge is persuaded, and soft speech breaks down the most bonelike resistance.

Therefore, I agree that need not be anxious beforehand about how to reply in defense or what to say, for the Holy Spirit teaches in that very hour what to say.

“I thank You, Father, that Satan and every menacing spirit is bound from operating against _________, for ___________ is strong in You, and in the power of Your might — quenching every fiery dart. Thank You for increasing in wisdom and in stature and years.

_______________ increases in favor with You and with man.
